New Features

Following are the new features introduced in this release:

Introduction of “Stop Recipe” Capability

Description:

Previously, stopping a running recipe midway was not straightforward, which posed a challenge for long-running recipes by preventing users from running other recipes or re-triggering the current one. To address this issue, we have introduced a “Stop Recipe” button. This new feature enhances user control by allowing you to halt recipe runs at any point, offering greater flexibility and ease of use.

Locations:

  • Recipe Side Panel: Access the button directly from the side panel for quick control.

  • Canvas Node Right-Click Menu: Stop the recipe run from the right-click menu on the recipe node within the canvas.

  • Recipe Queue Box: Manage and stop recipe runs from the queue box interface.

  • Recipe Details Page: The option is also available on the details page of all types of recipes, integrating seamlessly into your workflow.

Benefits:

  • Convenience: Stop recipes easily from multiple locations within the platform.

  • Flexibility: Gain better control over managing recipe processes, allowing for smoother workflow management.

This enhancement aims to streamline recipe management and improve overall user experience.

Enhanced DataApp and AskAI Options

We have introduced significant updates to the DataApp and AskAI options, enhancing their flexibility and functionality. The previous options have been replaced with new, improved features to facilitate better DataApp creation and management.

New Options:

Model DataApp:

Activation: Available only when a model is present in the project.

Custom DataApp:

  • Input Methods:

    • Project: Use AskAI to query all datasets available on the canvas.

    • Datasets: Query uploaded datasets using AskAI.

    • SQL Sources: Utilize AskAI with MySQL-based databases. Choose connectors to fetch datasets and run SQL queries.

  • Models Available: Select between OpenAI GPT-4T and OpenAI GPT-4o.

  • Creation Limit: Associate any number of DataApps to a Project

Benefits:

  • Enhanced Flexibility: Improved options for integrating and querying datasets with AskAI.

  • Increased Functionality: Expanded capabilities for utilizing different input methods and models.

  • Unlimited Customization: Create as many Custom DataApps as needed to suit your requirements.

These enhancements aim to provide a more robust and user-friendly experience for building and managing DataApps.

Enhancements

Visual Indicator on the Project Canvas

Added visual indicators to the Project Canvas within the project-level navigation menu. These indicators now highlight the presence of DataApps and Prediction jobs in your project for improved visibility.

Total Run Time in Logs

Logs now display the total runtime of recipes, allowing users to analyze and optimize workflows more effectively.

Export as Parquet Option

Users can now export raw data in Parquet format in addition to the existing CSV option. This feature is available via the dataset side panels and the View Data page, specifically for files equivalent to Parquet.

Revamped Segments and Scenarios UI

Significant UI updates to Segments and Scenarios:

  • Segment Name Field: Removed to reduce clutter.

  • Description Box: Resized for better readability.

  • Condition Builder: Renamed to “Add Conditions” for clarity.

  • Drop-down Menus and Button Colors: Redesigned for consistency with the platform’s visual design.

  • Action Buttons: Moved “Cancel,” “Test,” and “Done” to the secondary navigation bar for improved accessibility.

  • Delete Icon: Updated to a more modern design.

  • Scenarios Page: Comprehensive layout reorganization with removal of “Segments” and “Variables” tabs, and relocation of “Cancel” and “Save” buttons for better usability.

Table Settings Improvements

Enhanced table settings and column views:

  • Select/Deselect All: Replaced with a more intuitive “Select All” checkbox.

  • Column Support: Expanded to view up to 200 columns, with other sections supporting up to 50 columns.

Data View Enhancements: Column Sorting and Export Options

Description:

  • Column Sorting Highlight: Sorted columns are now highlighted in yellow for easier identification.

  • Export Search Results: Added an option to export filtered search results directly to an Excel sheet via the caret icon, streamlining reporting and access to specific datasets.

These updates aim to improve usability, efficiency, and flexibility across the platform, enhancing overall user experience and productivity.
