Enhancements

Extended Notifications Functionality:

Users can now receive notifications for successful or failed runs of recipes, prediction jobs, and React DataApps. Notifications are triggered by events such as out-of-memory errors, high CPU usage, or low disk space.

Artifact/Model/Variables Support in Code Recipe:

Introducing support for artifacts, models, and variables within code recipes. Users can now utilize built-in RC functions to create artifacts and models directly within code recipes. Additionally, global variables are now accessible within code recipes, enhancing flexibility and ease of use.

Add Custom Charts to React DataApp:

Users can now generate custom charts within DataApps using AskAI. This feature enables querying of model input and predicted output datasets, allowing users to create charts for reference and comparison purposes. Custom charts can be added to a new tab named “Additional Charts” within the React DataApp interface.

UX Improvements – Phase 4:

Implemented new theme changes across various components in the platform, including sign-up, sign-in, reset-password screens, environment, template recipe type, tenant settings, and user settings. Users can expect ongoing design enhancements in the upcoming weeks.

Evergreen Checkbox in Custom Environment:

Added an evergreen checkbox in the Configuration & Consumption side panel for custom environments. This checkbox enables users to keep the environment running if enabled, or shut it down after a set period if cleared.

AutoCreation of Prediction Service For DataApp

Eliminated the manual dependency on the creation of prediction service with this release. The system will now automatically create the prediction service in the background upon DataApp creation.

Resolved Issues

Fixed Welcome Message Display:

Welcome message now correctly displayed for users with the dataapp view role.

Column Width:

Resolved issues with column width in the data view, ensuring optimal data display.

Data Refresh:

Updated data is now displayed without requiring manual page refreshes when navigating from the menu or component icons. Resource Usage Display:

Resource usage is now consistently displayed in the config sidebar, regardless of custom environment or dataapp status.

Recipe Status Update:

Node colors now refresh properly during recipe runs, ensuring accurate status representation.

H20 Server Error:

Fixed H20 server error occurring during simultaneous runs, enhancing platform stability.

Dataset Selection:

Clicking on datasets no longer switches to select mode unexpectedly on the canvas, improving user experience.

Message Enhancement:

Modified message displayed when a DataApp is not running for clearer communication with users.

Panel Persistence:

Side panel and view dataset 3-dot panel now remain open during ongoing actions, enhancing user interaction.

Error Message Handling:

Users now receive appropriate error messages when partial code is received from Ask AI, aiding troubleshooting efforts.

Misleading Message Correction:

Corrected misleading message displayed when attempting to delete a dataset with an ongoing AI-assisted recipe run.

Prediction Service Error:

Fixed issue where creating a prediction service in a shutdown environment erroneously displayed an environment relaunch message.

Password Reset Dialog:

Upon clicking the reset password button in user settings, the OK button is now disabled to prevent duplicate submissions.

Validation message:

Providing the same email address multiple times now triggers a validation message when inviting users to join the platform. Fixed Tenant Management Link:

Tenant management link on the secondary navigation bar no longer redirects to the dashboard page.

Project Settings Description:

Description box in project settings now features a scroll bar when there is a lengthy description for better readability and management.

Recipe Name Correction:

Fixed issue where auto-generated recipe names failed to save due to extra characters, ensuring successful recipe creation.

Recipe Run Unblock:

Addressed issue where recipe runs were blocked across different scenarios, improving workflow efficiency.

Empty Output Dataset List:

Fixed issue where only Fivetran connectors resulted in an empty output dataset list, ensuring proper dataset visibility.

Model Absence Message:

Added appropriate message on the Ask AI tab in DataApps when a model no longer exists, enhancing user awareness.

Email Address Adjustment:

Lengthy email addresses now properly adjusted within designated boxes in the user profile settings drop-down, improving readability.
