API Connector Recipe
Introduction:
We are excited to announce the introduction of the API Connector Recipe, a powerful addition to our existing recipe types.
Key Features:
Direct Python Code Integration: Users can now write Python code directly within the platform to generate datasets, eliminating the need to upload a dataset beforehand.
On-Canvas Access: The API Connector Recipe is accessible directly from the canvas without the requirement to pre-upload a dataset.
Code Testing Capabilities: Users can test their code before integrating it into the canvas, ensuring reliability and functionality.
This new feature enhances flexibility and efficiency in data handling, empowering users to streamline their workflow and achieve more with Rapid Canvas AI.
Context-Sensitive Help and How-to Videos
**Introduction: **
Context-Sensitive Help: Enhance user experience with integrated context-sensitive help throughout the platform. These resources provide on-demand guidance tailored to the user’s current context, ensuring users can find help exactly where they need it.
How-to Videos: To facilitate learning and usability, a comprehensive library of how-to videos has been added. These videos cover various functionalities within the platform, offering visual demonstrations and step-by-step instructions.
Benefits:
Enhanced User Guidance and Efficient Learning: Users can access relevant help content directly within the platform interface, minimizing the need to search external resources.
Improved Usability: How-to videos supplement traditional documentation with visual aids, making it easier for users to learn and master the platform features
Enhancements
The enhancements made to the existing functionalities include:
Fivetran Connectors Enhancements
Manual Sync Option:
Users can manually trigger data synchronization within each Fivetran connector, providing greater control over data updates.
Sync Messages:
Differentiated messages for manual and automatic syncs provide clear status updates. After a manual sync, the last synchronization time is displayed, ensuring transparency.
Auto Sync:
Data synchronization can now be automated at specified intervals, ensuring that users always have access to the latest data without needing manual intervention.
Prediction Service Enhancements
New Configuration Options:
Users can now configure timeout settings for incoming requests and manage concurrency through a queuing system.
A toggle for showing logs allows users to control the visibility of prediction logs, enhancing transparency and debugging capabilities.
User Interface Improvements
Revamped Side Panel Design:
The side panel for datasets, recipes, models, and charts has been redesigned for improved usability.
Renaming the “View” option to “Preview” and optimizing the alignment of UI elements (plus recipe button, Preview, AI guide icon) below the side panel title enhances clarity and accessibility.
Redesigned Tenant and User Settings
Visual enhancements to the tenant and user settings pages, including a new background color and shadow effects, improve aesthetics and user experience.
Rapid Model Recipes
Prediction Job Enhancements:
Introduced future period option for timeseries problem types in prediction jobs, allowing users to define periods for future predictions. Frequency is determined by the corresponding time series recipe, providing flexibility and accuracy in forecasting.
